Joan Smalls and Ajak Deng channel their inner Amy for Jean Paul Gaultier

Paying tribute to the late infamous Amy Winehouse, Jean Paul Gaultier for his couture spring 2012 collection proved that despite Amy’s unintentional efforts to be stylish she inadvertently was. The usual trade marks that made Amy so special including: the high beehive, beauty spot, eye make up and not forgetting the cigarette pouting at the tip of the mouth, were all in place in this collection. Some may question how on earth is this couture? But it’s fair to say that this collection was a celebration of what made Amy so effortlessly stylish and almost quite classy in her own special way.

We’re loving how Joan and Ajak above channelled their inner Amy she would have been so proud. We wonder if they can sing would have been fun if they belted out ‘Valerie’.
