Road Style: Hallelujah!

Nov 13, 2011 No Comments by

Our second installment of  ‘Road Style’, comes from church, Jesus House, to be precise. Last Sunday, after a rocking service we spotted Chioma Ikokwo in the foyer. Always a sucker for hot pink and a Chanel bag (which I must add were in the high numbers), we could not resist snapping Chioma who has the straightest tresses in town.

Chioma is wearing the replendent hot pink Zara blazer adorned with large gold buttons. The blazer is a statement on its own, so Chioma wisely pairs it with a pussy bow white blouse, tailored trousers with gold button details, elegant Ferragamo court shoes  and the ultimate in classic chic, the Chanel jumbo bag.  Her statement jewellery are from her global travels. And as for her perfect long tresses, it’s all down to her company Good Hair, which supplies premium virgin human hair.

Here is where you can get Chioma’s look:

  • Blazer and shirt from Zara.
  • Trousers from River Island.
  • Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.
  • Chanel bag.
  • Tag Heuer watch.
  • Rings from China Town in Dubai
  • Bracelet from India.
  • Bangles from Thailand.
  • Cambodian hair by Good Hair.

We think she looks glamtastic, what do you think?

        Student Protests London 2011

This evening following today’s protest we interviewed 4 students who shared their views about the student tuition fees. After viewing the video, you should read our post below to find out our opinion and perhaps share yours. Enjoy xxx

After the 2010 violent student protests there were concerns whether today’s protest would be a similar issue. Though today’s protest was not quiet it certainly was not a violent affair. The student march against fees and cuts comes almost a year after  thousands of students took the street to protest against the coalition government tuition fees plans. The protest this year comes at the most appropriate time in our opinion as ‘prospective students’ for 2012 entry  are currently in the process of submitting their UCAS application forms so this matter is extremely prevalent right now!

          Heavy D 1967-2011

Legendary platinum selling rapper Heavy D whose real name is Dwight Arrington Myers died yesterday at the age of 44 after he collapsed outside his Beverly Hills home and he was rushed to hospital.

We can hardly believe it, 18 hours following his tribute tweet to Joe Frazier who died on Monday, Heavy D then posted his last tweet, which read, ”BE INSPIRED!”. His traggic and untimely death has sent shockwaves throughout the globe, and has been heartfelt by the hip-hop community, who revered Heavy D as one of the most influential rappers of the 90s. There has been an outpouring of tributes to the rapper on Twitter. It’s most certainly a sad day for hip-hop.
