Corruption always catches up with you in the end.. just ask James Ibori
Ibori’s case should be recorded as one of the most complicated, complex, and longest case in history. No one could have anticipated that the former Delta State governor would receive a 13 years sentence this officially marks the end to the highly controversial case. Amongst the sentence the following were confiscated as a result: A house in Hampstead for 2.2m, a property in Shaftesbury Dorset, £311,000, A 3.2m mansion in South Africa, a fleet of armored Range Rovers at a value of £600,000, a 120,000 Bentley, A Mercedes-Benz Maybach 62 bought at 407,000 with Euros and only God knows what else he managed to squander from the poorest people in Nigeria.
